About Me: In my ongoing quest to learn everything I can about the human body I have walked on a path of self awareness, self inquiry, and self discovery and in so doing, practicing every day how to live powerfully and consciously, how to cook and eat mindfully and how to co-exist with others in a fast, crazy, beautiful, brutal world. I have carved out a road full of achievement and accomplishments, successes and failures. My current obsession is helping women navigate through menopause through strength training and conditioning. By refocusing awareness of food, sleep and stress management and daily physical activity this can suck much less. Going through menopause myself and feeling absolutely alone and frustrated, alien in my own body and filled with angst- it made me realize that there is a lack of support for women my age and there is a huge opportunity to help and empower women through this incredibly challenging, isolating and rewarding transition. Me, that’s me- I want and need to help women 38-70.
I am the author of a vegan, wheat-free dessert cookbook titled Simple Treats and is currently working on my next publication. I am also author of the The Vegan LOVE Project.
